Global warming represents imminent danger for humanity and for our planet. AEROPERLAS REGIONAL, aware of this global threat signed an agreement with ANCON (National Association for Nature Conservation- the most well respected private institution in this matter) with the purpose of neutralizing all CO2 emissions resulting from its flights.

AEROPERLAS REGIONAL hereby becomes the first company in Panama to neutralize its CO2 emissions. The agreement states that AEROPERLAS REGIONAL will protect 1,000 hectares of growing rain forest in ANCON's private reserve in Punta Patiño, Darien, absorbing approximately 10,000 tons of CO2 – more CO2 than AEROPERLAS REGIONAL emits in one full year of flight operation.

We would like to invite other industry leaders to join in this effort together with ANCON. When flying with AEROPERLAS REGIONAL you help protect the planet & future generations from global warming.

Community Service/ Philanthropy

In Panama we have made donations to “Fundación de Amigos del Niño con Leucemia y Cáncer” (FANLYC), “Asilo de Ancianos de Chiriquí” (Hogar Bolivar) and “Nutre Hogar” in Changuinola, among others.

On November 2008 we transported together with the Panama Red Cross approximately 30.000 pounds of humanitarian aid to the region of Bocas del Toro, with 25.000 victims affected by the intense rains. This supports our commitment with the well-being and development of the communities in which we operate.
