  • For safety reasons, it is necessary to present a birth certificate or passport for every traveling minor with less than 18 years of age.

  • Infants under 2 years of age, traveling on an adult's lap may travel on an infant fare ticket, equivalent to 100% discount of adult fare.

  • Please note that due to the reduced fare, infants are not entitled to a seat or baggage allowance. If space is available, a collapsible stroller may be accepted in the passenger cabin or otherwise checked as baggage.

  • Children from 2 to 5 years may travel on a children fare equivalent to the adult fare with a discount that depends of the route:
    • From/To Bocas del Toro, Changuinola and David a 25% discount applies.
    • From/To Darién and San Blas a 50% discount applies.
    • From/To Contadora no discount applies.

If an infant requires a seat:


  • He/she is required to travel with a children fare ticket depending on the route .

  • A portable baby carrier may be placed on the seat, except during take-off and landing, provided that the carrier is securely attached and meets all airline security requirements.

  • When traveling with an adult fare ticket, the infant is entitled to baggage allowance and food service.

  • If you are traveling with two (2) babies, we are happy to accommodate you: one infant may be held by the accompanying adult and travel on an infant fare ticket, while the other occupies an assigned seat and flies on an adult fare ticket.
  • For security purposes, medical certification documenting physical fitness for air traveling is required for infants less than 7 days old.
